Love Gifts

A sweet Sister in The Lord sent me a love gift of the shawl pattern I wrote about yesterday in my blog post. I am totally blown away by her kindness.

I am always in awe when these type of things happen. It's so rare today to find such a loving soul that would even think of doing this. It's such a joyful act to give to another knitter a pattern they have their heart set on. A love gift.

Love gifts.  A token of love given to another to let them know they are in your thoughts.

I feel so blessed that my sweet Sister in The Lord gifted this pattern to me. I am still smiling about this today. It makes my heart smile.  :)

Thank you my sweet Sister in The Lord for your love gift that has truly touched my heart with your kindness.

Blessings to you all sweet friends.

......and now the knitting begins!  :)

.....and then I fell off the wagon....not yet...but...

I am on a sort of twelve step program for those who can't say no to yet another knitting pattern.  It's a wagon that I have joyfully road in these past few months with glee. I was feeling so proud (which we all know cometh before a this case out of the wagon) that I wasn't buying anymore knitting patterns. Yippeee....Look at my crazy butt...self control thou aren't my best friend after all.....

Oh wait a second....what do I see? No...stop, don't show me anymore. Deep, heavy sigh... this shawl  has captured my heart. I have not bought it (I whisper in hopes no one hears) yet. I have stood tall as someone who is five feet one inches can stand any who!

I will not lie and say that I can continue to stand tall. I mean seriously, look at that shawl.  It just looks so squashy,  ishy (yes, it is too a word I just created it!) soft.  I love the leaves. It's just a truly  a lovely shawl.

I just wanted to share with you what my knitters soul is lusting after today.  What patterns are you lusting over today?

Blessings to you all sweet friends.  :)
